Lakeshore Christian Preschool was founded in 1973 (originally as Tega Cay’s “Treehouse Kindergarten”) and is one of the largest and most sought out preschools in the area, proudly serving Tega Cay, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Lake Wylie, and Charlotte. Lakeshore Christian Preschool was selected the WINNER for the 2022 Best of Fort Mill Awards in the category of preschools.

We believe God created all children in His image and has instructed parents to teach their children in accordance with Biblical principles. Our Christian education addresses the needs of students spiritually, academically, and physically. Through our small class sizes, orderly environment, and caring and loving staff, we endeavor to assist families in helping every student reach his/her full potential.

Our classroom learning centers, modeled by the Fort Mill School District kindergarten program, have proven to be very successful for growth and development. We have merged 30 years of excellent preschool experience with the Christian-based WEE Learn curriculum and the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum. Our age-appropriate curriculums also include bible stories, music, chapel, P.E., and STEM learning activities. We strive to provide our students with the best opportunity to start kindergarten well prepared.

PROGRAM INFORMATION  

We believe that it is beneficial for preschool children to interact in a positive learning environment prior to their enrollment into elementary school. Lakeshore Christian Preschool provides a safe and nurturing environment which allows preschool children to blossom! 

Students attend daily from 9am to 1pm.  

One-Year-Old Program – MUST be at least 14 months and walking at time school starts. 

Two-Year-Old Program – 2nd birthday by September 1st. 

Three-Year-Old Program – 3rd birthday by September 1st and potty-trained. 

Four-Year-Old Program – 4th birthday by September 1st and potty-trained. 

Transitional Kindergarten – 5th birthday by September 1st & must have completed a 4yo program. 

Separate from the LCP program, extended day activities are offered from 1:00-2:00pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays for children in our 3, 4-year-old and Transitional Kindergarten programs. These activities are offered through a separate provider & are as follows: 

• Tuesday: Reading Giraffe 

• Wednesday:  PETITE Pickleball (4-year-old & Transitional Kindergarten only) 

• Thursday: Playball 

• The Registration Fee for new students is $175.00 per child or $275.00 per family. 
• The Annual Curriculum Fee is based on the program needs for each age group. (1YO=$150, 2YO=$175, 3YO=$225, 4YO&TK=$250 (3YO/4YO/TK includes the Learning Without Tears curriculum)

Lakeshore Christian Preschool Summer Camp 2026 Information

LCP’s 4 weeks of camp are specifically designed for your little one. Campers will make new friends while enjoying activities such as creative play, arts and crafts, music, and indoor/outdoor playtime. Come join us for the fun as each week explores a different theme. Themes will be explored school-wide with age-appropriate activities and fun!!

How to Register

• Camp Age
• Camp Week

•You will receive an email to confirm if there is a spot available.

• If there is availability, the application and payment will be due within one week.
• If there is no availability, your child can be placed on the waitlist.

Registration & Payment

• Submit the application without payment and wait for confirmation of availability.
• If there is availability, you will receive an email with an invoice; payment will be due within 1 week.
• If there is no availability, your child will be placed on the waitlist.

Camp Days: Monday-Thursday

Camp Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm

Camp Dates/Themes:

Week 1: June 15–18

Lake Life

• Campers will be “Living the Lake Life” learning about outdoor activities, such as fishing, camping, and boating fun.

Week 2: June 22-25

Wacky World of Fun

• This camp will be a full of creative fun with wacky days for “Crazy Hair Day”, “Hawaiian Shirt Day”, “Crazy Hat Day”, and “Wacky Everything Day”!

Week 3: July 20-23

Wild Adventures

• Join us as we explore one or more adventures of the forest, the jungle, the rainforest, the wild west, outer space and more!

Week 4: July 27-30

Under the Sea

• Come take a journey with us this week as we explore “the Seashore”… learning about sea animals and mysteries of the ocean. Summer is long and hot… so, we’ll end the week with some water fun!!

Age/Cost:

• There is no registration fee, just the weekly camp fee, which is due at the time of registration.
• Make checks payable to LCP.

Rising 2YOs: (MUST be 2 by 9/1/26) – $180/week

Rising 3YOs: (MUST be 3 by 9/1/26 and potty trained) – $160/week

Rising 4YOs: (MUST be 4 by 9/1/26 and potty trained) – $150/week

Rising Kindergarten and 1st Grade: (Entering kindergarten or 1st grade) – $150/week
