Hands of Grace
Hand of Grace Ministry
We all experience times in our lives when we need the love of Jesus to come around us in a practical way. Lakeshore’s Hands of Grace Ministry was launched to meet some of these needs and extend the Hand of Grace to our church family.
Meal Ministry
During “significant” events in our lives (i.e. child birth, surgery, death of a loved one, etc.) it is nice to not have to worry about the routine details of life. Our Meal Ministry team is here to provide our church family with meals for a short period of time to bless them and make life a little easier during these times.
Grief Ministry
Our Grief Ministry desires come alongside our individuals in church family who have experienced the loss of a loved one. These can be difficult and confusion times and we want to assist you with healing from your loss. Lakeshore’s Grief Ministry will send individuals a set of four short books from the Journeying through Grief series (Stephen Ministries). These books will be sent to people at four crucial times during the first year after the loss of a loved one. Each book
focuses on what the person is likely experiencing at that point in grief—offering understanding, empathy, compassion, and hope.
Hospital Visitation
The purpose of the Hospital Ministry is to share the love of God by offering prayer, compassionate support, and face-to-face visits to our hospitalized members. We desire to allow God to work through us to provide encouragement and hope to patients and their family members. Our pastors and hospital visitation team members maintain medical confidentiality and respect the patient’s privacy in all situations.
