Bolivia Missions

In 2015, Lakeshore began an ongoing partnership with Pastors Ruben and Isabel Baldiviezo and the Faro Del Cielo Church in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Over the years our partnership has provided the finances and additional manpower to accelerate the timeline of the building of the Worship Center by an estimated 90%. During our trips we have learned the partnership was more than simply building and finances, but it was indeed a supernaturally intertwining of our ministries. As chapter one of our partnership comes to a close with the completion of their Worship Center, we now turn our attention to chapter two, a ministry training center and homes for orphans in a village called, Peji.

Next Trip Opportunity

   Supporting Bolivia & Beyond

We sense that Faro del Cielo in Bolivia is entering a unique season. While they finish their sanctuary and begin envisioning the Peji project, we felt led to pause trips to Bolivia in 2025. Instead, we’re focusing on prayer and fundraising to support their next steps.

Our Continued Commitment

  • Fully Funded Air Conditioning: Praise God! We’ve committed to completing this by the end of this month, a much-needed addition for their ministry.
  • Focused Support: This year, we’ll prioritize fundraising and prayer as Pastor Ruben and his team prepare for future growth, including launching new leaders, programs, and churches.

How You Can Get Involved

  1. Church Yard Sale (April 4th & 5th)
Join us for our Missions Yard Sale! Volunteers are needed to make this a success.

  2. Support the Bolivia Fund

  3. Pray for Bolivia
Pray for Pastor Ruben, his family, and their leaders as they face spiritual pressures while seeing great ministry growth.

Day 1 and 2… Lots of work…

Every Bolivia mission trip I've ever been on seems to have a similar timeline for those who have never been before. The first day you're taking in all the sights and sounds and trying to wrap your head around where you're at and what's going on around you.  That...

The First 48 Hours

Greetings from Santa Cruz Bolivia.  The first 48 hours have been a whirlwind adventure and left us little time to stop and update everyone on what's been happening.  We are happy to report that aside from a few minor hiccups the trip has started off incredibly. After...

A Binding Of The Holy Spirit

The last couple of days have been a whirlwind of activity and emotions. Each year as our trip comes to an end, we are amazed at how fast the week goes and the emotions that are attached to our goodbyes. These people have become like family and each year...

Isn’t God Good?!

Thursday greeted us with bright sunshine and a nice breeze. We are in the middle of winter here in Santa Cruz. Last year the weather was in the 50’s with a cold wind each day. We were very comfortable doing hard labor but rather cold otherwise. This year...
