Bolivia Missions

In 2015, Lakeshore began an ongoing partnership with Pastors Ruben and Isabel Baldiviezo and the Faro Del Cielo Church in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Over the years our partnership has provided the finances and additional manpower to accelerate the timeline of the building of the Worship Center by an estimated 90%. During our trips we have learned the partnership was more than simply building and finances, but it was indeed a supernaturally intertwining of our ministries. As chapter one of our partnership comes to a close with the completion of their Worship Center, we now turn our attention to chapter two, a ministry training center and homes for orphans in a village called, Peji.

Next Trip Opportunity

Lakeshore began our partnership with the Faro del Cielo Church in Santa Cruz, Bolivia in 2015. We have been working to help them complete the vision God gave them to build their church and we continue to partner with them to expand His Kingdom in their country and will be going back this summer!

Our team will leave on Friday, July 5, and return on Sunday, July 14.

Day 5 and 6, When Friends Become Family…

Every Bolivia mission trip I've ever been on seems to have a similar timeline for those who have never been before. The first day you're taking in all the sights and sounds and trying to wrap your head around where you're at and what's going on around you.  That...

Day 3 & 4

Over the past two days the team has been diligently working at the church under the watchful eye of Edwin and Marco.  Like any job site the first day took a little while to get everything straightened out and all the jobs and tasks lined up.  This trip they had...

The First 48 Hours

Greetings from Santa Cruz Bolivia.  The first 48 hours have been a whirlwind adventure and left us little time to stop and update everyone on what's been happening.  We are happy to report that aside from a few minor hiccups the trip has started off incredibly. After...

A Binding Of The Holy Spirit

The last couple of days have been a whirlwind of activity and emotions. Each year as our trip comes to an end, we are amazed at how fast the week goes and the emotions that are attached to our goodbyes. These people have become like family and each year...

Isn’t God Good?!

Thursday greeted us with bright sunshine and a nice breeze. We are in the middle of winter here in Santa Cruz. Last year the weather was in the 50’s with a cold wind each day. We were very comfortable doing hard labor but rather cold otherwise. This year...

Nunca Solo/Never Alone

The days are simply flying by. It is strange to think that the end of our trip is quickly approaching as we face each new day full of activity. We knew Wednesday would be a busy day and it didn’t disappoint. We gathered at the church early and went about...

Healing Hands & Kicking Feet

Whew! What a day! Tuesday was slightly different than we had originally anticipated. We finished all of the construction prep-work we could finish on Monday and Edwin needed a little bit of time to finish building the forms we will be using to fill with...

Power In Preparation

Monday was a big day of preparation. We arrived at the church in the morning and joined together to first talk to Edwin about our plans for the day. For those of you who don’t know Edwin, he is one of our precious brothers-in-Christ who attends the Faro...

United Hearts

Sunday began bright and early. The first service at the church started at 8:00 AM and the second began at 10:30. So, we were at the church by 7:50 in the morning, ready to go! When we arrived, many of the workers and volunteers were already on sight,...

Walking On A Ground Full Of Promises

We are here! It is such a pleasure and a joy to be in this country with these wonderful people. Words are not adequate to convey the connection we have with these people. The Holy Spirit connected our hearts together from day one and each time we arrive in...
